I really want to travel the world, but I’m stuck in a desk job. My entire life, I was encouraged to go to college before using my degree to get a decent career. I’ve been in the professional world for nearly five years. I’ve just come to realize that my dreams aren’t necessarily wrapped in a career path. I’m so happy for my friends that have careers they love, but I feel that my path isn’t the same as theirs. I really want to begin traveling the world to find myself, gain new experiences, meet new people, and explore new cultures. I’ve never been anywhere that’s more than 7 hours from home.

I’m looking to transition into remote work. Has anyone ever made the leap to remote work? Do you like it? I’d love to meet like-minded people who are doing work remotely and traveling!
