How to Finance Your Startup Company

Hey everyone, I’m the main provider for my family. I have three kids and a wife who is a stay-at-home mom. I’m currently stuck in a typical desk job that pays pretty well, but I’m in the works of beginning my own startup company. The issue is that I don’t know how to finance it. It’s far too risky for me to put my entire life’s savings into this startup, even though I really believe in it. I don’t want to take any risks because I have kids who are relying on me to generate income to provide for them. Plus, my wife would kill me if I put too much of our savings into this startup. To sum it up, I really want to finance my startup but don’t know where to begin. Has anyone been in my shoes before?

Raising capital is a dilemma, sometimes the best way is to talk to family and friends by providing them with a business plan. If they are hesitant, promise them shares in the company =, it just might be what convinces them to give you the start up capital that you need. Also, because they feel invested in the company, they are more likely to help you with the initial running of the business or even reinvesting into the business.

I personally, prefer not to take bank loans, but it is sometimes necessary.
