How to Successfully Get a Book Published

I wrote a horror-mystery novel that I’m genuinely proud of. I’ve passed some pages along to friends and colleagues in the writing industry, and I’ve gotten great feedback.

Here’s the problem: I can’t get my book published. I’ve tried to get it published for a few months by sending my book and query letters to different agents, but to no avail. Has anyone ever written a book and got it published? I’m wondering if my genre of choice is not as popular, so that’s why it’s getting passed up.

You have a much higher likelihood of getting an agent who is actively getting books within your genre published....
As I touched on earlier, you should never give up if you really believe in your piece. Please don’t get discouraged by the rejection, as it’s a normal part of getting a piece published....
